About:

We are in search of a highly motivated individual to assume the position of Head Accountant within our team. As a key player in our company's financial operations, your responsibility will be to ensure accurate accounting and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities: 

• Oversees all accounting activities of both financial and management accounting.
• Performs internal audits on A/P, A/R, expenses, and other company finances.
• Reviews, investigates and makes corrections to financial entries, documents, and reports.
• Develops and implements various accounting procedures
• Applies cost accounting methods to achieve an accurate representation of cost center performance.
• Prepares financial and performance reports and assists departments with annual budgets and reviews.
• Issues invoices and credit to customers and performs other data entry duties.
• Approves all customer invoices prior to release.
• Makes weekly check runs.
• Manages payroll accounting and sign-in processes of new employees.
• Opens customer accounts using SAP and requests information and required documentation for the customer's Master File.
• Prepares the monthly statutory accounts and consolidated financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Reports, analyzes and ensures the integrity of all financial information.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field required, Master’s Degree preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Solid experience in a similar role.
